Tearing

If tears fall onto your cheek for seemingly no reason, one or both of your tear ducts could be blocked, increasing your risk of serious eye infection. A blockage may occur from trauma, age, or infection. Newborns are especially vulnerable.

Dr. Bedrossian performs minimally invasive surgery that opens the blocked passages and restores the tear duct, or lacrimal system to normal function. Often there are no scars and little recovery time is needed.
